We're currently living in a generation wherein it's a big deal for teenagers if they won't receive a single gift or flower on Valentine's day. A teenager named Hayden Godfrey has noticed this social problem that's why he tried his best to come up with a solution that would be best for everyone.
This teenager both 900 carnations and handed a single flower to every single student in his school.
To make his plan work, he sought for the help of 20 volunteers in his school, to make sure that every girl will receive a flower.
“So I did a thing today.
Today I passed out 900 carnations, one to every girl at SVHS and it was totally worth it. I don’t think anything can compare to seeing every girl in your life holding a flower as they walk through the halls.” He wrote on his Facebook account
One of the girls who received a flower from him commented on his post by saying that they really appreciated his effort.
“This is so impressive to me, Hayden! I remember many Valentine’s days as a teenager where the other girls were getting gifts and I didn’t. It wasn’t fun. Your example not only touches those who received a flower, but all of us who hear and read about it,” She said.
